Warranty

We protect the original purchaser with a comprehensive warranty for our flooring. The warranty only extends to the original purchaser for as long as he or she owns the home. This warranty is limited to residential applications only and does not apply to industrial or commercial use.

TIMBER FLOORING WARRANTY

Classic Timber Floors will, in the case of product failure which is found to be due to manufacturer's defect, provide 7 years structural warranty and replacement of the products. In instances where the installation has varies from these manufacturer's installation instructions no such warranty shall apply.

Under no circumstances will the company be liable for consequential or incidental damages of any type. In circumstances where the defects of deficiencies of which the purchaser complains arise from instructions given by the person for whom the work was done contrary to the advise in writing of the installer, the warranty shall be void.

SURFACE FINISH WARRANTY

Classic Timber Floors are coated with 4 and 5 layers of UV cured acrylic lacquer. Each board has a no-wax and low maintenance surface that is very durable.

If the instructions of our Floor Care Guide are adhered, no re-coating on finish is necessary in less than five years. Where there is light traffic experienced, finish will last even longer.

The warranty does not cover surface damage due to scratches from furniture or heavy items, dents, spiked heels, pets, improper maintenance, excessive/continued exposure to direct sunlight or other causes noted in the Floor Care Guide, nor does it extend to areas of high traffic or excessive use. We cannot warranty the performance of the finish in commercial applications.

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY

This warranty will not apply in any of the event of:

- Improper Installation
- Improper Maintenance
- Repairs / Alterations
- Naturally Occurring Features
- Natural Color Variation / Aging
- Wet Areas and heated sub-floors
- Misuse
